People Helping Pets started with a simple idea: every pet deserves care, and every pet parent deserves access to it. Founded by a group of animal lovers in Chicago, we focus on bringing free vaccine clinics for cats and dogs to underserved communities, with resources available in the languages people actually speak.
But our mission goes beyond vaccines. We strive to create space for people of color in the veterinary field, because representation matters and every future vet should see themselves reflected in the community.
Everything we do is driven by love and inspired the pets who remind us why helping pets helps people too.
